I have about 30 tiny bottles of bubbles left over from my recent wedding. Because we have come up with no better uses, a new favorite activity of my husband and I is entertaining the animals (and ourselves) by blowing bubbles. At first, it was just Abe, our 17 pound cat, who chased and meowed at the bubbles, but now Freda has joined in. She loves chomping on the bubbles. I don't know if it's a hunting thing, or if she just doesn't understand this new floating object...but Freda loves the bubbles. It's freaking hilarious to watch her hunt down a bubble, jump slightly in the air and chomp down on a big sudsy bubble. I can't imagine it tastes good...but it does give me one more reason to buy a bacon-flavored bubble machine that I saw on television.
